A VEILED CONCEPT

Over the past four weeks I’ve gotten barreled, hung ten and surfed myself into the ground on numerous occasions. I was presented with a unique opportunity to surf and work alongside Thomas Bexon for the creation of a new, single-fin longboard. Both Thomas and I embraced the chance to build a surfboard that I will eventually use all over the world. We were lucky enough to travel to Java so that I could familiarize myself with some of Thomas’ previously shaped boards before beginning work. After a week of perfect waves we then headed back to Bali for the creation of my new, personalized model. With Thomas washed clean of the foam dust and headed home to Australia I decided to revisit Java for the ultimate test of our finished project.

A Veiled Concept is the revealed documentation of this venture.  Art exhibit at the Deus Temple of Enthusiasm from the 1st of February 2013.
